Long Ago
Divilu Productions began its roots back in 2006 based on a graphic design assignment and a quiet dream. Back then, owner Kate Ackley had quietly wished for an animation company. She always had an affinity for imagining fantastical stories, crafting characters and animals that have become an elaborate world. Her time spent in fanfiction and fanart have helped give a foundation to what became Divilu Productions.
The Divilu, from where the studios received its name, has roots in Latin for blessed and wolf. Essentially, Blessed Wolf. Created by Kate at the age of eleven, the desire was to create a unique animal that at times seemed like a best friend. With a love of wolves and griffins, the idea was born. Early renditions included a creature modeled after a few Pokémon before landing on what is seen today. It’s meant to convey a sense of friendliness and innocence while being a protector.
As they grew together, more skills were added to the sandpit being played in. Names and ideas were tossed out before the skeleton of a book series was crafted. Using these bones, Kate excelled in classes using a growing cast of characters as the foundation for her assignments leading her to top marks and inspiring others as she has always dreamed.
Who We Are
Truth be told, I never meant to stumble into any of this. I have loved drawing and writing since the womb and hoped maybe one day to publish a book and work in the animation industry, but life has a funny way of charting a course for us if we submit to the process and follow the road.
Each step has strengthened my resolve to produce pieces that give people an escape and leave them hoping for a brighter tomorrow. Life is not without its challenges, and neither are the works you will see. When I started on the road of animation, I never planned for that to morph into a background of editing, producing and directing. It helped the foundation of creating stories with the hope to inspire and give others a breath of fresh air.
This is the goal of Divilu Productions. To give you, the adventurer, hope for tomorrow, laughs for today, and the encouragement to keep putting one foot in front of the other.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world.
